Yesterday I passed these neolitic flintmines again while walking.
It remains extraordinary, that these little mines are among the oldest in the world,
yet, get so less attention...

Imagine: these flint mines were dug ca. 3.300 years before our dating system started in year 0.
Long before the Egyptian dynasties started. Long before the Cheops pyramids were built.
Long long before Stonehenge was erected. Long long long before the start (and fall) of Rome.
Long long long long before our contemporary, insignificant and stupid "leaders" were born ;)
Etc etc
