The Mineral Museum Gorsatt in Imfeld, Switzerland

The Mineral Museum Gorsatt is located in the picturesque village of Imfeld, located in the beautiful Binn Valley.

At the back of the mineral shop
Hidden in the back of André Gorsatt's mineral shop lies a world of minerals waiting to be discovered. Beyond the shop door, an extensive space opens up that forms the heart of the Mineralienmuseum Gorsatt.

Top pieces
For a modest entrance fee, visitors gain access to an extensive collection of no fewer than 1,500 pieces of minerals, carefully displayed in 47 illuminated display cases. The collection, collected and curated by André Gorsatt over many years, offers a rich and varied look at the wonders of the natural world. In addition to Gorsatt's many masterpieces, there are also pieces from other collectors on display. Of course, these pieces also come from the Binntal.

Three rooms
The museum extends over three spacious rooms, each filled with a wealth of minerals arranged by area of discovery. The well-lit display cases present the minerals in a way that is both beautiful and informative, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the diversity and beauty of the pieces in detail.

One of the highlights of the collection is the extensive collection of Aquamarine pieces from the Wannigrat, displayed in a special display case that attracts the attention of every visitor. Another impressive display contains Anatase pieces from the Lärcheltini zone, which are not only very good, but are also accompanied by historical labels offering insight into their origins. In addition, there are numerous other masterpieces to admire, including specimens of the Wannigletscher, such as the large pieces of Cafarsite.

A visit to the museum is always worthwhile.
