Our French Association of Micromineralogy will organise his annuel meeting during the weekend, 26-27 of September, at Guiherand-Granges in the south east of France, not far from Valence.

Give away tables are one of the interesting traditions of this meeting..
And when Georges Favreau is here, you always find something really amazing which will go directly to your collection....

Hi all,
Last weekend, Christiane & Jean-Robert Eytier have organized the AFM Grand Sud spring meeting at Espalion, Aveyron, France.
We were about sixteen people from everywhere in France but also from Germany.
The local was the old railway station of Espalion.
The atmosphere was very friendly and everybody enjoy this meeting very well.

NB/ Photos with JRCE in the title were taken by Christiane & Jean-Robert Eytier, thanks.

I was thinking to come over (it's in the week that my daughter and my wife have autumn vacation) and attend the meeting, do some collecting and spend some late nights with good friends of ours that live in a "vieux moulin" in la Cheze (near Loudeac) drinking lots and lots of wine......so I checked my diary to find out that I have the complete week covered with CD recordings (Haendel concerti grossi).....maybe next time.
