Who am I?
In the year 1978 I saw my first daylight and now I am married with my Maisie.
We have a great son called Caspar. He is my hero!
I am a scientist with a PhD degree in Biochemistry and I love to design and perform experiments which learn me more about how the molecular life on our blue planet works.

What I do?
I like to search for minerals anywhere and whenever I have time. If I find them, I am happy. If I don’t find them, I had a good time outside and with friends. Preferably I like to spend my holidays in the Alps (where there are plenty of minerals to be found ;-)

Macro photography of anything derived from mother nature (minerals, orchids, insects) is another passion.

When I have time left I enjoy good cooking and then dine as long as possible with good wine and atmosphere.

My aim is to live every day of my life and try to learn as much as possible.
