beste rob,

groeten kristof :-D

Yes Frank, I agree with you post processing could be very time consuming.
That's why, as you, I prefer to do the maximum of quality picture set before shooting my stacks.

I prefer the last one too Jean-Marc.

I guess a post treatment seems the easier way at that time.
But maybe someone already had face this matter?

As your adapter Minolta Md a lens too?

Yes Frank.

Cheers

Just my mind:
The knoeledge about the light temperature helps all the time!
RAW makes it easier to change during "photoshop"-ing, but a correct camera setting will give a better jpg, too. But a correct camera setting will need less manipulation of the images in postprocessing.

I prefer a correct setting, even if some collegues say: "hey do it by photoshop :-) "

Frank

Maybe your should use a grey card ?
Yes maybe but I don't want to use Raw files because it will be too long for me with my setup to take a whole stack.
Do you think a grey card could be useful with jpeg files?
Btw, I took a picture, not with the Olympus EP1 (difficult to totally avoid vibrations) but with my usual afocal setup, Meiji eyepiece 10x + Canon Powershot S70.
I prefer this one even if the field is a little more narrow.

Thank you very much Vita, :-D

I appriciate this very much.
I think the agates are great but still I have a lot of problems to make the perfect picture.
About dept I foound a good solution and I will send my new set up soon.
But I am not a great fotographer and I don't have the right lens. (the lens intend to "walk out of sharpness'. It is if the turning pint of the lens is to loose. But this better than I did before and I will imporve quality one day.
but thanks a lot.

groet frank

For the dutch.. here is a comparisson in price:

http://www.pakketpostvergelijk.nl/

For Belgium--Netherlands, i have good experiences with Kiala
For China-->Netherlands, i have good experiences with Hongkong Post --> TNT post
For Netherlands --> USA    TNT post
USA --> Netherlands  --> FedEx

Very bad experiences with DHL, UPS : Expensive phonenumbers, rude personnell, no pickup point near when not at home, bad workin websites.

Fedex is expensive, but reliaable.
Reliaable also for paying your VAT or BTW when importing..., only, they want you to pay it with an extra fee, because they do the first pay for you, so you have to pay them the VAT + extra fee (around 10 euros!).

TNT is alsways coming on weird times, but I can pickup close to home in a shop that is open from early to very late :).

Extra nice:  Small parcels with tnt:
If your package is smaller than Paper A4 and thinner then 3,5 - 4cm (standard letterbox), you can just pack it as if it is a letter. Send it via normal mailbox, but with enough stamps on it.

prices are a lot cheaper, and the service is more reliable, since all packets can be delivered in your normal door or outside mailbox:

0-20 g.   1x Nederland 1   EUR 0,44
20-50 g.   2x Nederland 1 of  1x Nederland 2   EUR 0,88
50-100 g.   3x Nederland 1 of combinatie van Nederland 1 en 2   EUR 1,32
100-250 g.   4x Nederland 1 of combinatie van Nederland 1 en 2   EUR 1,76
250-500 g.   5x Nederland 1 of combinatie van Nederland 1 en 2   EUR 2,20
500 gr.-3 kg.   6x Nederland 1 of combinatie van Nederland 1 en 2   EUR 2,64

Used this system of letterbox package a lot here in netherlands, belgium, germany. Works very well, but don't send any of these packages in december and first halve of januari (because of chrismas mailing and the unreliable extra personnel on the sorting centres, have bad experiences with it several years)

And the next DHL horror just started ...
Waited for a parcel from Germany 2 weeks, now I asked the sender and he checked what happened. DHL couln`t deliver it because I wasn`t at home, they didn`t even leave a note at home this time. So the parcel is on its way back ...
Good that I paid with Paypal.
