Saturday 6 march, I went to the agate fair in Niederwörresbach.
On the radio I heard there was a heavy snowfal, but I decided to drive anyway.
It took me more than one hour extra to get there.
I met Erwin and Bea, and Frank and Hilde Manders with their kids.
The fair was situated in two halls.
Many agates of course, but also some nice other mineral pieces from the surroundings near Idar.
We talked to different people, you will recognize them on the picture’s, I guess.
In the tent with the famous “spiesbraten”, I met klaus.
I asked him about the Juchem, and he answered me that it wouldn’t open this time, because of the heavy snowfall last night.
The First time it will be open this year is Good Friday.
Oke, I couldn’t go into the Juchem, but I had a good time with some nice Strahlen friends.
Again I thank Bea and Erwin for their hospitality, so I didn’t had to sleep in my car, 10 degrees below zero.
