The silvermines around Schwaz-Brixlegg are among the oldest mines in Europe... and the 'Schwazer Bergbuch' among the oldest books on mining in the world.
It is possible to write a hundred pages here on the mining in this region, but when you're mineral collecting around here at the Silberberg for Erythrin etc, you can visit this nice museum on a rainy day ;-)
