The quarry 't Rooth is (only) interesting for finding fossiles (and for finding small Quarz-xx and Chalcedon-xx inside Flint...). We do not know of any other minerals found here.
You can visit the quarry: see limburg.geologischevereniging.nl. It's open every saturday from 09:00-12:00.
The soft limestone ('mergel') is mined here for a lot of purposes... per head of the Dutch population 1.200-1.500 kilo of chalk/limestone is used each year! See more information here...
