This facility is intended as a "site" museum that gives pride of place to minerals from Mont Blanc, which are known throughout the world, particularly smoked quartz and pink fluorspars. The exhibits come from the club’s collections, the Musée Alpin (municipal collection), the "Lesage" collection bought by the municipal authority and the club, and others are on loan from crystal specialists and collectors.
