Does anyone know a EU-source for the 2022 Fleischer?
The shipping costs from USA/Canada are insane just to order one...

(at the Liège fair only 2018 Fleischer's were for sale)

Vol. 01, 2022
By Malcolm E. Back, Departmental Associate, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Earlier versions of this volume have been published by The Mineralogical Record Inc. since 1971 when the first Glossary was introduced by Mike Fleischer, 52 years ago. Mineralogical Association of Canada is taking over the publishing of the new edition of this volume with the blessing of The Mineralogical Record. Malcolm was invited by Joe Mandarino as a co-author for the 2004, 9th Edition, and the 2008, 10th Edition, which was to be their last collaboration on the Glossary; he passed away September 18, 2007 as they were finishing the manuscript. The number of new minerals being described each year continues to amaze. In 2017 there were 118 descriptions, 2018 - 168, 2019 - 136, 2020 - 104, and up to October 31, 2021 - 65 descriptions. This will be an alphabetical list, as of October 31, 2021, of the names, symmetry, and chemical -compositions of mineral species. Synonyms and discarded names will not be included. Diacritical marks will be included. This 2022 edition will supersede the 2018 edition. All mineral species listed are approved by the International Mineralogical Association.

Fleischer’s Glossary of Mineral Species 2022
by Malcolm E. Back
Fleischer’s Glossary, the first edition of which was written by Michael Fleischer in 1971 and then published by the Mineralogical Record, is updated every four years to keep up with the numerous new mineral species being described each year.  This latest update, the 13th edition, lists 5,739 species—up 656 from the 5,083 species of the 2018 edition. For each species the formula, type locality, crystal system, references, and relationships to other species are given.
After its 317-page main body, the Glossary lists 213 more species which have been pre-approved by the IMA but whose formal descriptions are not yet published. A detailed listing of currently recognized mineral groups and supergroups occupies 97 more pages, and a new feature, concluding the work, is a 9-page section on sulfosalt systematics.
With tough, flexible covers and a spiral binding, the Glossary lies flat on your desk or lab table. It is a compact, easy-to-use, indispensable reference for mineral collectors and professional mineralogists alike.
