The Mining Museum provides an insight into the history of salt extraction. It consists of a re-creation of the Hall valley mine, which was abandoned in 1967. Galleries, shafts, tools, minerals, a shute and much more vividly convey to the visitor what it was really like to go underground. The Mining Museum is in the centre of Hall's Old Town (duration of guided tour approx. 30 mins).
