The exhibitions about summer and winter tourism are something of a highlight, providing an insight into the pioneering days of mountaineering, from the conquest of the Bernina Range to modern alpinism. Also well worth a visit is the exhibition on the development of SAC huts and the multimedia presentations on ”Mountain experience“, ”Alpine flowers“, ”Butterflies“ and the special show. The Museum Alpin, founded in 1971 by the Association of Mountain Guides Pontresina, is located in Pontresina on Chesa Delnon in a stately Engadine building dating from 1716.
