The Rohdenhaus quarry is a very very large quarry. It is working 7 days a week. Entrance only on invitation... You can get access through the VFMG Wuppertal...

The list of minerals to be found here is large and interesting.
Erik Hos, David Nieto, Jos Hens, Robin&Willem Bakker and I were here on 12/10/03.
Jos Hens, Ed van de Mijden, Erik Jan, Nol&Lucien were there on 23/11/03 and on 28/03/04 with David Nieto and Erik Hos.
Jos Hens, Luc Waumans, Nico Nilis and others were there on 25/09/2004 and 26-09/2004, they found large quarz-xx and nice secondary minerals.
etc... They found large Quarz-xx (to 8 cm), larger Calcit-xls, Hemimorphit, Auricalcit, Sphalerit, Rosasit, Hydrozinkit, Smithsonit, Galenit, Cerussit, Malachit, Azurit, Greenockit, Markasit etc, all in nice micro-xls.
